no sound

i have a gateway serial #0032726475. i have had to reinstall windows, and i have lost the driver for my sound card. i have looked thru all the posts and still am having no luck.. please help

check out the gateway site to see whether the right sound driver is available. if it's not, try elsewhere on the net. there are many programs like driver robot or driver detective which may help you get a working driver automatically. hope my answer can be of some help to you. good luck
