MX6025 - no sound

Bought used MX6025 (S/N T365BJ1001545). No recovery disks. Had to reload OS (XP). Reloaded all drivers found on Gateway site. Device Manager issues with multimedia audio controller, pci modem and mass storage controller. My problem is no sound. Everything else appears to work. Have spent a couple of hrs (or more) trying to resolve this issue before I posted to this site. Thanks for any help!

There are several configurations on that unit. Once came with the AC97 audio, the other was the conexant
Here are the 2 drivers I found.
Sometimes, you need to load the motherboard chipset driver first on a new xp install.

Thanks but those are the same drivers available on the Gateway site that I already loaded. Any other suggestions?
